If there has been a theme besides Bob dominating, it is that we’ve had great weather but hot for every tourney so far.
Mr. Mister a new cooling mechanism provided by Bob to BHLISA has provided all players with a place to cool down while they take a break in the action.
Player entries were low with the tournament including only 4. It was to be a battle for long standing members Bob, Koks, Bunny, and Stan.
A surprise visit was made by Bocce fans Din, Dee and Zach to take in the action. Din remarked “Why was I not invited?” He was immediately reminded that all tourney dates are posted on the website and BHLISA is not responsible for him missing the sign up.
Super fan Heather was also make it to enjoy the playoff action.
After the round robin here were the standings:
Bob 3 - 0
Koks 1 -2
Bunny 1 -2
Stan 1 -2
With 3 players at 1 -2 points were tallied as this tourney was to be a 3 player page playoff determined by BHLISA at the morning meeting. Stan unfortunately did not muster enough points to make the playoffs and took an exit.
With Bob straight through to the final Koks and Bunny matched up to see who would face Bob who played well all day.
Bunny was victorious over Koks and would move on to face Bob in the final.
After a break and some cooling down, the final was on.
Bunny just couldn’t match Bob’s great play and was defeated. Bob with the Aug Long win.
