The smoke cleared and it was another great day for Bocce. It was hot and players searched out the shade to watch and take breaks for their next matches.
10 players again for the second tourney of the year. BHLISA has grown its members in the past few years and the competition has been wonderful!
Headlines of the Day:
Chet, a perfect 7-0 to win the tourney.
Koks had a great day going perfect in the round robin at 4-0 and a second place torney finish at 6-1.
New player Chad Saunders (aka Jett Thunders) was a solid 3-1.
Friesen was strong finishing 3-1 in the round robin.
Koks beat 2022 BHLISA League Champ Friesen 3 times on the day to move through to the finals. Great work Koks!
Grant and Bunny were a perfect 0-4 for the day and took the time to reflect, cheer on the competitors and eat some pulled pork sandos.
There was a momentary altercation between a Ferrari driver and local Scooter Snoop which was interesting .Snoop was checking out the action parked in the middle of the street. They exchanged their opinions of speeding and compared vehicles before deciding on F You.
Byno, the left hander favorite smashed Stan's beer on a tough shot placed perfectly by Stan.
